Life Clubs are fun 90-minute workshops designed to help you gain clarity of thought and live a happier life.
Life Club was a big success at the last ChangeCamp with more than 20 participants taking part in Life Circles, just one of the 50 tried-and-tested workshops in the Life Clubs stable, and doodling their way to clarity.
So I'm absolutely delighted to announce that I'll be hosting another Life Club taster workshop at ChangeCamp 2010! I haven't yet decided which workshop to run, but I can p…

Just thought you might like to know that the next ChangeCamp will be on Saturday March 20th, 2010. Put that date in your diary and tell your friends.
I'm hoping that it will be in Gosforth High School once again, I'll let you know as soon as it has been confirmed.
I'm in the process of compiling a list of presentations. If you want to be a presenter drop me a line with your ideas. You don't have to be a professional to present, all you need is something you know about and something you want to…

I've just (I hope) sorted out the gremlins that have stopped the weekly issues of the ChangeCamp Courier newsletters being sent to your inbox.
I think I've got it sussed now, so you should soon start receiving ChangeCamp goodness.

Yes, laughter yoga is good for you. It keeps you in touch with your childhood. George Bernard Shaw said: "We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing".
I was in Newcatle just over a week ago leading a laughter session. I thought you might enjoy a photo of the Newcastle University Rugby League lads enjoying a laughter workout! Keep tee-heeing!

Apart from the obvious, here's another good reason to look forward to a Laughter Workshop
Researchers led by a team from the College of Medicine at the University of California, Irvine, researched how the expectation of a funny event affected a person's stress levels and immune system function.
Several subjects at nearby Loma Linda University were told that they would be viewing a humorous video in three days. A control group was told nothing. In the days before show time, the participants…

Many people want to change. They want the world to change, their friends and families to change, or even to change themselves. We have a thirst to change, to experience something better than we already have. We want to be happy or at least happier.
ChangeCamp is all about change (it's called ChangeCamp for a reason). It's a bazaar of different ways to change yourself and others: EFT, mindfulness, developing confidence, laughter workshops, solution focussed therapy, inner child-work, NLP and man…

I've made a couple of changes on the ChangeCamp website.
The ChangeCamp Courier
If you were used to seeing a rather ordinary looking email from time to time with blog posts then I hope you will enjoy the new email newsletter
The ChangeCamp Courier which is a weekly publication of blog posts and new events. The sign up box is on the left hand side of the website.

In the past we have used the Events feat…

People are often unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered;
Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind,
people may accuse you of selfish ulterior motives;
Be kind anyway.
If you are successful,
you will win some false friends and some true enemies;
Succeed anyway.
If you are honest and frank,
people may cheat you;
Be honest and frank anyway.
What you spend years building,
someone could destroy overnight.
Build anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness,
they may be jealous;
Be happy anyway.
The good…

There's only one day to go before ChangeCamp. This is just a reminder about the day and some organisational information to help you get the best out of the day. If you've been thinking about attending but are not sure, please come along there are 15 workshops on all sorts of topics from mindfulness, play therapy, NLP, self-image and more, and then there is the Laughter workshop. That's a heck of a lot for less than a round of drinks. Turn up and bring your friends they'll thank you for it.

Life Clubs are fun 90-minute workshops designed to help you gain clarity of thought and live a happier life, and they're coming to Newcastle in January 2010. Come along and see how Life Clubs can benefit you.
There are 50 workshops in the Life Clubs portfolio, and the one I'll be running at ChangeCamp is called Life Circles. It's a fun, creative session which harnesses the power of doodling! Sounds crazy? It is, a bit, but it's a powerful and thought-provoking way to see how you'd like to shape…

To all of you who came to the first Change Camp and especially to all of you who attended my Creating Confidence Session. You made my day. I exceeded my own expectations as a teacher/trainer/practitioner and I do hope you all went away with an enhancement of your confidencing state.
I could have gone on all day and made it a whole day workshop (this is a good idea), the 90 mins was over in a blink.
Please, please send me some feedback. Tell me what you want for next time and I will do my best…
